This course is designed to prepare students for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

The course will cover the following topics:
• Nursing Process: A nursing process is a systematic approach to providing care to patients.
The course will cover the steps of the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Nursing Pharmacology: Nursing pharmacology is the study of drugs and their effects on the body. The course will cover the basic principles of pharmacology, as well as the specific pharmacology of common medications used in nursing.
• Nursing Informatics: Nursing informatics is the use of information technology to improve the delivery of nursing care. The course will cover the basics of nursing informatics, as well as the use of electronic health records, clinical decision support systems, and other technologies in nursing.
• Nursing Leadership and Management: Nursing leadership and management is the process of directing and coordinating the activities of a group of nurses to achieve a common goal. The course will cover the principles of leadership and management, as well as the skills necessary to be an effective leader and manager in nursing.
• Test-Taking Strategies: The course will also cover test-taking strategies that can help
students improve their scores on the NCLEX-RN. These strategies include time management,
critical thinking, and effective reading comprehension.
