This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to prevent and respond to fires.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
• Identify fire hazards and take steps to prevent fires
• Use fire extinguishers and other fire suppression equipment
• Investigate fires to determine the cause
• Evacuate buildings safely in the event of a fire
• Provide first aid to fire victims
